Indonesia: Two more people die from bird flu
An Indonesian Ministry of Health official on August 13 confirmed a 29-year-old woman living on Bali tourist island and her 5-year-old daughter died of bird flu, bringing the total number of deaths to bird flu This country is 83 people.
According to the authorities, the mother died yesterday (August 12), while the daughter died on August 4. These are the first deaths in Bali recorded in bird flu.

A 2-year-old girl near her home in the Jembrana district is also suspected of being infected with the H5N1 virus and is currently being treated at a hospital in Denpasar, Bali's capital.
According to Bayu Krisnamurti, chairman of Indonesia's National Committee for Avian Influenza Prevention, sources say there are many dead chickens around the two victims' homes.
Indonesia is currently the world leader in the number of infected people as well as the number of people dying from bird flu. With these two new deaths, a total of 194 people died from bird flu in the world.
