Indonesian airplanes abruptly increased their height and plunged into the sea with incredible speed

About 3 minutes after taking off from Jakarta, Indian captain Bhavye Suneja requested to return to the airport.

Preliminary survey data shows that the JT610 plane has fallen at a dizzying speed, from a height of 1,479m in just 21 seconds.

About 3 minutes after taking off from Jakarta, Indian captain Bhavye Suneja requested to return to the airport. This request was accepted by the air traffic control station, but the Boeing 737 Max 8 did not return and fell into the sea

Preliminary survey data shows that the plane has fallen at a dizzying speed, from a height of 1,479m in just 21 seconds.

Aviation safety expert John Cox thinks these numbers are unusual.

'Normally when the plane falls freely, it will fall about 450m to 600m in a minute,' Cox said.

Data obtained from FlightRadar24 flight tracking site showed that the Lion Air plane had dropped altitude at more than 9400m per minute.

'This is an unbelievable number , ' said the executive who runs consulting firm Safety Operating Systems.

The data analysis from the Aviation Safety website also describes the speed and altitude of the JT610 in 13 minutes.

The plane turned left once after take-off, reaching a height of 640m before descending to 450m. After that, it continued to raise the altitude to 1370m and 1630m before plunging down.

On another flight on October 28, the crashed Boeing 737 Max flew a completely different route. Recorded data shows that it has some unusual movements after takeoff but has achieved the necessary height and remained stable afterwards.

Indonesian officials have not officially announced what actually happened to the ill-fated plane. The focus of the current investigation is to find out why there have been sudden abrupt changes in altitude and the reasons for the pilot's request to return to Jakarta just minutes after the aircraft took off.
