The engine is crystal clear

You are in an airplane in the sky. Suddenly, the entire floor of the plane disappeared, as if hovering between the sky at an altitude of 10,000 meters.

It seemed as if the dream could come true as Airbus recreates a transparent passenger airliner that allows passengers to watch the ground or look at the clouds above.

Fox News said the body of the new aircraft will be covered by a high-tech ceramic shell. After the captain pushes the button, an electric pulse travels through the crust, making the fuselage transparent.

" Passengers in such a plane will feel the flight in a completely different way ," said Axel Krein, Airbus director of research and technology, to Germany's Der Spiegel.

Kerin and his colleagues also wanted the cover to be self-healing if cracked, ruptured or broken. Its engines will be inserted into the body instead of attached to the wing as the current aircraft.

' We asked the engineers for their imagination to fly. Airplanes with transparent bodies can appear in the sky by 2050 ', Kerin said.

Even so, Kerin noticed that the transparent shell of the aircraft could dominate the market sooner.

The transparent shell is more sophisticated than the traditional shell. It reduces aircraft mass, reduces fuel costs, and allows passengers to view the sky at 360 degrees. Future planes will offer passengers the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the five continents at ease. You will see the pyramids in Egypt or the Eiffel Tower in France through the transparent floor of the aircraft , 'said Kerin.

Kerin insists that the idea of Airbus is too bold, but based on actual calculations and technology.

' Much of the technology needed to make transparencies is in the airplane industry ,' he said.
