Restore the traditional menu bar : By default, the familiar menu of IE 7 is hidden. You can see it by pressing the Alt key or right-clicking on the toolbar to select Menubar.

The Menu Bar will then appear in the middle of the address bar and the toolbar. If you want, you can edit the Registry so that the menu bar is back to the top position like the previous versions are:

In the right pane, right-click and choose New and create a new DWORD Value called ITBar7Position . Then select Hexadecimal in Base and set the Value Data property to 1 (see Figure 1). Turn off the Registry, start IE 7 and you'll see the familiar menu again.

Clear browsing information with hot keys

The following tips will help you quickly delete browsing information with a shortcut combination of your choice.

Right-click the Desktop, select New > Shortcut , type RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 255 in the Type the location of the item box and click Next (see Figure 2).

Select the name for the shortcut and click Finish . Next you right-click on the shortcut you just created and select the Properties command, the Shortcut key entry type any example E. Click OK to save the implementation again.

From now on, just press Ctrl + Alt + E , you can delete the browser information without opening IE.

The following are the commands to delete individual components:

- Delete saved data for form data: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl, ClearMyTracks ByProcess 16 .

- Clear saved data for history URL: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl, ClearMyTracks ByProcess 1 .

- Delete cookies: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl, ClearMyTracksByProcess 2 .

- Delete temporary files saved by IE as cache: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl, ClearMyTracks ByProcess 8 .

- Delete all settings and files of add-ons: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl, Clear MyTracksByProcess 4351 .
