Inventing a self-changing window to save energy

According to research published in the American journal Chem, Canadian scientists have just created a smart window that can change colors to save energy.

The scientists coated the alcohol containing metal ions on the windows of the windows, then used ultraviolet light to create a film covering the entire window glass. This membrane is completely transparent, but after being transferred, it turns green.

According to scientists, the above windows can retain energy in the building when switching from a colorless state to a colored state, so that heat and Face light can be controlled. Heaven depends on the texture and needs of the people inside the building. Making windows in this way will not require high temperatures or modern vacuum equipment like other smart windows, thus reducing production costs.

Mr. Cheng Wei, one of the participants of the study, said they could change colors or change color to make the most of the light and heat emitted from the Sun. Ordinary windows often lose one-third of the solar energy used to heat, ventilate and serve buildings installed with air-conditioning systems, but smart windows can save this source up to 20%.
