Japan and Vietnam cooperate in communication and Internet technology
The Vietnamese government will create favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises to invest in Vietnam, prioritizing high-tech development, especially Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.
That is the affirmation of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during the meeting of Japanese Minister of Internal Affairs and Information Yoshihide Suga. The Prime Minister highly appreciated Japan's support for Vietnam, including the aid of Vietnam to develop the Internet community, the North-South optical cable system worth USD 160 million.
Minister Suga announced in a meeting with the Ministry of Posts and Telematics of Vietnam, the two sides agreed to cooperate in mobile communication technology, broadband Internet .
Minister Suga said that Vietnam was the first country he visited as minister because Vietnam was a fast-growing country in all fields, especially information technology.
