Japan opens 'world's tallest elevator tower'

Mitsubishi Electronics has opened an architecture called the world's tallest elevator test tower. This 173-meter high building will be the place to conduct research on high-speed elevators to serve the future of super-tall buildings in the future.

The building is called Solae, which stands out in the sky of Inazawa city. This $ 50 million project will allow Mitsubishi to test drive systems, gears, cables and other lifting systems.

Super buildings will become popular in the coming years. The tallest building in the world today, Taipei 101, 508 meters high, will soon be overtaken by towers in cities such as Dubai, Shanghai, Moscow and Chicago. Even traditional low-architecture cities like London are rising.

The elevator of Taipei 101, installed by Toshiba, reaches speeds of 17 meters per second, and is considered the fastest in the world today. They integrate a pressure control system that prevents the standing human ear from being " detonated " and the elevator chamber has a streamlined shape to minimize the noise generated when it runs in a narrow space.
