Using Juniper's ScreenOS 5.4 operating system, the SSG product line provides a full set of integrated UTM security features, including Intrusion Prevention, anti-virus (spyware, adware and phishing). ), anti-spam and Web filtering to protect data traffic in and out of branch offices from worms, spyware, trojans and malware. Various UTM security features allow SSG 5, SSG 20 and SSG 40 devices to be deployed as a standalone network protection device. When combined with ScreenOS routing mechanisms, SSG 5, SSG 20 and SSG 140 devices can also be deployed as a secure router to reduce the cost of IT investment and operation.
