Laptop emergency is 'sticky' water

Water, coffee or soda are all dangerous liquids for laptops. Sometimes just a little bit of water on the keyboard, your computer may have problems or corrupted data. Reasonable computer resolution in these cases can save you considerable repair costs.

The simplest preventive measure and of course the most effective way is to keep the laptop away from all types of liquids. In the case of water use, advice is given to use plain water. A cup of hot coffee, a glass of cold soda or a glass of wine can all bring bad news at any time: all contain a certain amount of acid. Acidic liquids will wear metal, and even coffee and soda will stick to the machine even after evaporation.

If the device is running on battery power and you don't see any strange symptoms or smell the smell, then turn off your laptop right away. If there is a problem, the laptop must be turned off immediately by turning off or removing the battery.

- Remove the source and battery, set aside

- Disconnect all connections to computers such as peripheral devices, USB connections, Fire Wire and other ports.

- If you see water sticking on the source or battery, wipe it clean and leave it somewhere else. The water sticking may cause the power and battery of the computer to be broken, resulting in a new purchase.

- Disassemble all cards connected to the machine, clean. You should also carefully wipe the slot with cotton, to avoid leaving the cotton while wiping.

- Wipe off the sticky liquid on the display. The item used is a cloth soaked in water to remove the adhesion of the liquid.

- Remove the hard drive and DVD / CD reader if possible, clean it.

- Dry memory modules, remember their positions carefully and set aside.

- Dry the keyboard with cloth gauze.

When removing the device, you should carefully read the location of the parts in the manual, preferably with the accompanying illustration. A photograph of the parts of the machine before removing it is not redundant.

- Leave the device open in a well-ventilated place, with two books high. Maintain this process 24 hours, absolutely do not use a fan or dryer to speed up the drying speed.

When performing a restart of the computer 24 hours later, use the battery before using the power source. If you are careful, take your device to a test repair center to make sure there are no additional costs for future failures.
