Listening to headphones over 90 minutes will damage the ear
Your hearing will be broken if you regularly listen to music more than 90 minutes a day with headphones from a digital music player.
(Photo: britishcouncil) Research over 100 students discovered, those who listen to music with 80% of the sound capacity, at the point where the sound is said to be loud, should not exceed 90 minutes a day.
"If a person exceeds that time limit in a day and does not use headphones in the following days, they will not be at high risk. Only those who hear more than 80% of the volume in 90 minutes day after day, month Only after months are affected, " study author Brian Fligor said.
The study also found that those who listen to music at 10-50% volume for a prolonged period will not have problems. However, if someone hears at the maximum volume for more than 5 minutes, they will face the risk of being deaf. This result is true for both adults and children.
Scientists found no difference between a music player or a music genre like rock, R&B, country music or dance music.
Many people who often listen to loud music do not realize that hearing loss will take 10 years to reveal.
Another study also found that headphones inserted into the ear are not more dangerous than headphones that ring over the head.
