The shape of the face may reveal the quality of a "breed" of a man, according to a new study.

International researchers found that men with a broader face and more men , tend to produce poorer quality semen than their counterparts who have a more feminine face.

This conclusion is drawn from a new study by a group of experts from Spain, Australia and Colombia. The research team first conducted semen analysis of white, European students at the University of Valencia. Later, they photographed the faces of these men and lit them based on seven parameters that showed masculinity, including the width of the cheekbones and nostrils.

Finally, the team analyzed whether there exists a correlation between any parameters of masculinity and male sperm quality.

The results revealed, in the eyebrow, the more masculine and wide face seems to be associated with the risk of "sperm" being weaker. In addition to being associated with higher testosterone levels, the broader male face also implies that employers are more likely to possess characteristics such as healthy, aggressive, imposing, status, financial success and easy to lie.

However, the researchers admitted that when men with abnormal semen (according to the World Health Organization's evaluation criteria) were removed from the study, such relevance disappeared.

A previous study found that men with low voice had fewer "breeds" than their peers. Experts say this may be because higher testosterone levels of male hormones hinder sperm production.

However, in the new study, the international team also found that the men were both appraised as attractive, instead of masculine, producing better quality "breeds". for men who are considered less attractive.

One hypothesis to explain this phenomenon is that there is always an "offset" , in which masculine men with deep voices and dual forces win in the competition attract the weaker sex, but can "lost" in the ability to have children. Because masculine men can attract more women, they may not need good quality sperm to make a woman pregnant.
