Make a drink from sweat

Scientists have developed the world's first potable drink machine, by extracting sweat on clothing and cleaning it.

Products are being developed by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Gothia Cup Project to raise awareness about the lack of clean water in the world.

"They want to raise awareness about clean water in a new, fun and exciting way," said Westberg, a UNICEF executive vice president in Sweden.

" Sweat Makers are a reminder that everyone needs water, and we drink and sweat no matter where we come from or what language we speak." Water is a common concern of all. people on earth, " Westberg said.

According to engineer Andreas Hammar, who developed the machine, there are many different ways to extract and purify water. The technical solution used in this project is the same as in the space tourism industry, where each drop of water, whether it's urine, cooling water or sweat, is invaluable.

"It's hard to believe, but the water is extracted from the new cleaner compared to the normal water we use , " says Andreas Hammar.

The famous football players also participate in the project. They are the first to drink water extracted from sweat. The research team said that anyone could participate, everyone would be motivated to get sweaty clothes and the extractor would sweat and make drinking water.

The owner of the project hopes to appeal to people from 70 countries around the world. "We are very happy that everyone involved in the football tournament for youth has been sweating together and drinking water from the cups," said Dennis Anderson, secretary of the Gothia Cup .
