Sapienza and Luigi Zingales - an expert at the University of Chicago (USA) - invited more than 500 MBA students to participate in the experiment. Two researchers and colleagues checked testosterone levels of volunteers and asked them to choose one of two things: a cash reward and dozens of lottery tickets with a much higher prize value. . The results showed that the rate of male students choosing lottery was much higher than female. However, when considering the selection of female students, the research team found unexpected results. The rate of girls with high testosterone levels was 7 times higher than other girls.
