The entire rhino of an Indian-like horn at the Babai Valley nature reserve in southwest Nepal was suddenly missing.

Although this precious mammal conservation program started in 1984, the number at the reserve is decreasing, from 72 to 0 now.

Authorities said: " 23 of these were poached, the rest suddenly went missing ." The possibility of all being poached is excluded because the authorities said they could not find the corpses of these rhinos (poachers only cut horns and left them to confirm). In last June's inventory, the staff only found a single rhino skeleton. So far why the missing rhinos are still a mystery.

In the Babai Valley, the last time a similar rhino was seen seven years ago. It is known that this rhino breed only lives in southern Nepal and northern India. Currently, there are about 372 children in Nepal and 2,500 in India.
