Many large business websites are not ready for IE 7
According to a recent study, many websites of leading UK companies do not display full content on Microsoft's new browser. The US software group also recommends code for Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7), which is relatively different from IE 6.
Microsoft requires site owners to check if their site is compatible with the latest IE version since 2001. Internet Explorer currently accounts for more than 80% of the browser market, followed by Firefox by Mozilla open source organization.

Etre said the results of the study could not be replicated to a general status for all global websites, but they believed that the proportion of sites with IE 7 problems accounted for more than 10%, or about 12.7 million. The site will need to be modified to match IE 7.
