Mark important sections on a long Web page

Dog Ears is an open-source application (extension) for the open-source Web browser Firefox, which makes it easy to bookmark and quickly find important sections but not close together on long Web pages.

This will help users save a lot of time because they do not have to scroll the page up and down and strain their eyes to find what they have read. Dog Ears is only 25 KB in size, provided completely free of charge and compatible almost almost all versions of Firefox.

Install Dog Ears online

Download Dog Ears to your computer from here, activate Firefox 2.0.0.1 Web browser, access the File menu, select Open File ., navigate to the file storage location of dog_ears-1.3-fx + fl + mz + zm.xpi has just been downloaded, click on its icon, select the Open item, wait until the Software Installation dialog box is encountered, then perform the remaining operations similar to the installation of the Live Dog Ears online.

Exploiting Dog Ears

To mark the location of any paragraph on a long Web page, right-click on this location, select the Dog Ears item in the Firefox 2.0.0.1 Web browser context menu and click on Mark Here.

Immediately, the icon with a folded book page with a specific number (to be assigned from number 1) will appear. Do the same steps if you want to mark the location of the remaining important sections scattered across the long Web site.

To move quickly to the location of the highlighted sections, simply click on the Dog Ears icon located in the lower right corner of the Web browser window. If you want to remove the icon of a highlighted paragraph, right-click on the location of this icon and select Remove This Dog Ear . Please select Remove All Dog Ears when you need to remove all the symbols of the highlighted sections.
