Maybe the 'Sun Tsunami' will encounter the globe
Scientists are warning that the Earth may experience a strong tsunami from outer space as early as Tuesday after a massive explosion occurred on the Sun.
The big flames that erupted from the Sun over the weekend were recorded by many satellites, including the new US space agency Solar Dynamics Observatory (NASA).
On Sunday (August 1), astronomers from all over the world witnessed a massive explosion on a giant sunspot that was about the size of the Earth.Because of this black spot towards the Earth, the "tsunami" caused by the explosion is aiming at the Earth and is capable of crossing 150 million km.
Experts say that today, solar tsunamis can collide with the shield of a natural magnetic field that protects the Earth, creating a multitude of aurora (brightly colored bands of light) in the sky.
Scientists also warned that a massive eruption of solar energy could destroy Earth's satellites, electrical systems and telecommunications if it happened today.

Dr. Lucie Green, a solar expert at Mullard Space Science Laboratory, Surrey, said: 'This is a very rare event - not one but two eruptions at the same time. and head straight to our planet. '
'The eruptions occur when large magnetic structures in the Sun's atmosphere lose stability and the gravity of the Sun is no longer enough to hold them back. Like an unexpectedly squeezed spring, they erupted into space . '
In June, the Telegraph also revealed that scientists from senior space research centers believe that the Earth will suffer an unprecedented large magnetic energy from solar fire in 2013 after Face Heaven 'wakes up from a deep sleep' .
