10 individuals received the 2013 Golden Globe Award

On the evening of December 23, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union honored 10 typical individuals in the field of science and technology and celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Golden Globe Award.

10 people received prizes at the age of 19 - 35, including 6 people working at universities, 2 doctors . Dr. Ta Hai Tung, Director of International Center for Research and Development of Satellite Positioning Technology (Hanoi University of Technology); Dr. Phan Xuan Hieu, lecturer of University of Technology (Hanoi National University); Dr. Le Van Canh, Deputy Head of Department of Civil Engineering (International University, National University of Ho Chi Minh City); engineer Vo Khanh Hung, lecturer of Department of Biotechnology (Nong Lam University of Ho Chi Minh City); Master Dam Thi Lan, lecturer of Department of Energy and Environment, Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (Hanoi University of Construction); Master, doctor Nguyen Le Viet Hung, lecturer of Pediatric Oriental Medicine Department (Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy).

Speaking at the award ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan said that science and technology are developing rapidly, bringing about great efficiency. The Youth Science and Technology Award named Golden Globe took place for the first time in 2003, organized by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Ministry of Science and Technology. Over 10 years, the award has become a playground for young scientists and a generation of talented young people who are passionate about science and technology. 105 exceptionally outstanding young talents have received awards, many "Golden Globe" have been successful and hold important positions in agencies and businesses.
