The new drug has been developed by a group of scientists from the Institute of Genomic Medicine, Mexico's National Autonomous University (UNAM) and Queretaro Autonomous University. In the pharmaceutical component of Casiopeínas contains copper atoms that the body is easily excreted, thus reducing the side effects compared to other anti-cancer drugs.

Test results show that Casiopeínas promotes cell death, inhibiting the life cycle of cancer cells , thus preventing the growth and metastasis of cancer cells. On the other hand, Casiopeínas also prevents the development of fibroblast - the formation of tumors, while activating the body to protect the liver as well as increasing the body's immunity and restoring healthy cells. hurt.

Currently the drug is in the experimental phase in patients after being successfully tested on animals.
