Microsoft allows free download of Ajax Framework

On January 24, Microsoft completed the development process and allowed Windows developers to download the first version of the Ajax Framework programming library.

The Ajax Framework helps Windows developers easily use the "Ajax" programming style to create highly interactive Web sites.

The ASP.Net Ajax 1.0 library (codenamed "Atlas") was officially posted on its website on January 24, and allowed users to download it for free.

This Ajax library will be compatible with many Windows operating systems, including Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows Vista; and can be used with Visual Studio 2005.

Ajax programming, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, is a major concern for Web developers because of the ability to display information almost simultaneously, for example, to display ticket prices. fly, weather temperature on the Web platform without users having to reload the site.

Microsoft's current challenge will be to convince the Web development package that its Ajax standard is superior to any third-party solutions, such as Dojo Foundation and Script.aculo.us.
