Microsoft blocked Vista, IE 7 security holes
Microsoft yesterday (June 7) announced that it will release a monthly update to fix critical vulnerabilities in Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7.
The patch for the two applications mentioned above is part of a monthly update that will be officially released next Tuesday.
In total, Microsoft will release 6 security updates. In which, 4 copies are classified as "extremely dangerous".
The goal of four "extremely dangerous" security updates is two vulnerabilities in Windows Vista and some previous versions of Windows. The other two errors belong to Internet Explorer 7 and IE 5.0.1 running on Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2.
The other two major updates target two other security errors in Visio 2002 and Visio 2003 along with another error in Vista. However, these errors are not too dangerous.
The newsletter on the process of launching this monthly recurring update is the first newsletter that marks Microsoft's change in the mechanism for providing information about patches. Accordingly Microsoft will release detailed security vulnerabilities that will be fixed on the first Thursday of each month.
However, this time, Microsoft has not specified the number of security errors fixed in this phase.
