Microsoft introduced the Partners in Learning system

On September 1, in Vietnam, Microsoft Vietnam launched the online system - Partners in Learning program, including e-learning solutions and creative teacher portal integrated in the website http:/// www. mspil.net.vn .

This website will facilitate building and developing a common forum for PiL community to share experiences and learning. The Creative Teachers Contest 2006 (ITA), a competition on IT integration initiative in teaching for high school students is also introduced.

Picture 1 of Microsoft introduced the Partners in Learning system The ITA competition is an initiative to build Creative Teachers Network, a community of teachers comprising pioneers in integrating ICT in teaching and learning. This annual activity of the PiL program was first organized in 2005, in 5 localities in Vietnam. The ITA 2006 competition will be held in 8 provinces and cities from September 10 to November 15. Teachers who use ICT in teaching and learning can participate in this competition.

Joining the Creative Teachers Network through the portal of creative teachers, teachers will have access to resources for learning, professional development and online teacher community.

The e-learning solution provides more opportunities for teachers and students to access PiL program learning resources. It also supports teachers and students with the ability to remotely manage courses.

According to Microsoft, the goal of this program is to train and train about 50,000 high school teachers and final year students of pedagogical schools for IT knowledge in five years. About 2 million students will benefit from this program. Up to now, the program has trained 7,000 teachers and about 280,000 students benefiting from the program.
