Microsoft is preparing to patch Windows, Office
On schedule, next Tuesday Microsoft will release a periodic security update to fix a series of security flaws in its products.
It is expected that in this phase Microsoft will release a total of 8 security updates. In particular, Windows and Office accounted for a total of 7 updates. The other version belongs to Visual Studio.
In a statement posted on its official website yesterday (January 4), Microsoft confirmed that dangerous security flaws in Windows and Office will be the focus of the January update.
However, Microsoft did not disclose how many security bugs it will be patched in this round.
Security firm eEye Digital Security said Microsoft had eight zero-day errors in its Windows and Office applications that needed emergency fixes.
Also on Tuesday, Microsoft will also release an update to the free Malicious Software Removal Tool.
