Microsoft re-released the MS06-042 update
Microsoft has just officially released a security update MS06-042 that has been fixed to cause the browser to crash and a serious security error.
The above errors were discovered after users of Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 reported their browser crashes when accessing some websites. But it was from the browser crash that Microsoft discovered another buffer overflow security error that existed in the security update MS06-042. This security error can be exploited by hackers remotely to take full control of the user's system.
The Microsoft representative in an email notification confirmed that the newly released security update has completely overcome any errors.
Earlier, Microsoft had planned to release a bug fix for security update MS06-042 to fix a browser crash when accessing some websites. However, Microsoft had to postpone this plan because at the time eEye Digital Security, security company discovered the error that caused the suspended browser to be a new security error.
Microsoft released a security update MS06-042 on August 8 in its monthly update. This update is classified as extremely important to overcome 8 dangerous security bugs in IE.
The problem and security bug in the MS06-042 update only affect users of Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 version running on Windows 2000 and Windows XP platforms.
