(Germany) led by Director Frank Kochan to survey the project of building a waste treatment plant with 100% foreign investment in Danang.
According to Mr. Kochan, if the project is allowed to deploy, FFK will build a continuous waste treatment system worth 75 million Euro, applying high technology with an estimated processing scale of 1000 tons of garbage / years and create recycling products from waste (fuel) provided to industries. This will create a great economic benefit for the city.
Mr. Van Huu Chien highly appreciated FFK's 100% foreign-invested environmental project, because the project contributes to the strategy of building an environmental city and sustainable development of Da Nang, while the funding source for the environmental projects of the city is very limited.
It is expected that FFK's delegation will return to Da Nang in June 2007 to conduct surveys and work with the City's specialized agencies to provide a specific action plan for the project.
