On a groundbreaking project, CERN physicists are preparing to launch experiments to determine the existence of anti-gravity.

The researchers will use the unique ability of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) to produce and store antimatter to test the hypothesis that exists only in science fiction novel.

According to some theories, antimatter can create gravity against any object around it, instead of attracting them like ordinary matter.

"Antimatter is very difficult to understand," said Jeffrey Hangst, head of the Alpha-2 project at CERN, whose mission is to investigate the properties of antimatter.

He says antimatter is the opposite of matter, but it is unclear whether or not this includes reflectivity.

If proven, it could create a revolution in the field of physics, thereby enabling practical applications, such as the generation of aircraft that rarely use fuel or fuel. Boats can travel to other solar systems, according to The Sunday Times.
