Looking for the truth about what kind of strange creature is like this mosquito, some readers speculate that this is not really a mosquito. It is just the Tipula Paludosa insect belonging to the Tiputidae family with long legs, though harmless but often confused with mosquitoes.

Meanwhile, according to The Free Dichtionary Encyclopedia, Tipula Paludosa is similar in shape to the gray mosquito, about 20-24mm long. According to Naturespot Nature Research (UK), Tipula Paludosa insects often live in fields, parks and gardens. It usually flies from April to October every year, especially in the fall.

However, unlike mosquitoes, Tipula Paludosa fly flies do not bite people or animals. When they were still larvae, they often ate grass and plants. When they grow up, they often don't eat anything but just fly, mate, lay eggs, and die. They also have no venom.

Notably, Discoverlife of this insect not only appears in Europe, North America as it often thought but in Encyclopedia of Insects, published in 1989, in New York, USA said, It is also available in Asia. The Tipula Paludosa fly has slender, long legs that many people mistook for it as a mosquito. Although classified, the fly and the mosquito belong to the Diptera bivalve.

With the same shape, assuming a strange creature in Quang Binh is a mosquito with a body like a dragonfly is an individual Tipula Paludosa fly, which is a valid and interesting conjecture.

It is known that, at the moment, according to Mr. Lai Van Hai, officials of Dong Hoi City Preventive Medicine Center said that the center is considering making procedures to send to the appraisal experts exactly the type of birth. This strange thing.
