MySpace and the BBC signed a video sharing agreement
The online social networking site MySpace recently signed a partnership agreement with the global BBC, whereby a number of BBC television programs will be broadcast on this social networking site to serve a wide audience worldwide. .
This agreement allows MySpaceTV users to subscribe to BBC Worldwide to view and share stored clips as well as currently broadcast. These clips will serve all MySpaceTV users worldwide.
Other BBC programs included in the deal include "Robin Hood", "Torchwood", "The Catherine Tate Show", "Red Dwarf" and "The Mighty Boosh".

The BBC has now partnered with Google's YouTube site to allow the video sharing site to broadcast excerpts of newsletters and entertainment programs.
Thus, MySpace visitors can now share clips with friends as well as keep them in their personal profile page.
Simon Danker, BBC Worldwide's digital media director, said: " This global agreement is a great opportunity for new viewers to watch the best TV shows ."
Jeff Berman, MySpace's vice president of marketing and content, said that " this agreement reflects a quick access to the Internet in the future outlined by the partnership between the two companies ."
According to the agreement, BBC and MySpace will share the profits from advertising.
