1. Easter Island

This empire flourished between 1200 and 1535 AD. They have developed a drainage system and canals to expand their cultivation. At the same time they also built stone cities on steep slopes, most notably Machu Picchu. Surprisingly, people have not invented the wheel, so the construction of the city still has many mysteries.
