NASA claims water exists on Mars
Scientists at the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) said yesterday they had accurate evidence to prove that water exists on the Red Planet.
This is the first time since safely landing at Mars in late May, NASA's Phoenix probe has identified water in a soil sample collected from the surface of the Red planet.
'We found water on Mars,' said Arizona University scientist William Boynton in a statement released by NASA yesterday.
'Earlier, we saw evidence of ice in surveys of the Mars Odyssey probe and last month Phoenix discovered ice. But this is the first time, Phoenix touches and feels the water on Fire. '

With interesting results, NASA announced yesterday that it will extend the Phoenix probe's Mars time to another month.
Phoenix set foot in the northern region of Mars on May 25 last. According to the original plan, Phoenix's mission lasts about 3 months and will end at the end of August.
Phoenix is NASA's latest attempt to find out whether water - an essential component of life - once flowed on Mars and whether life - even just in the form of bacteria, exists or already exists. stay there or not.
