National Scientific Conference on Hematology

On June 7, the National Scientific Conference on Hematology and Blood Transfusion was held in Hue. Hundreds of scientists from Germany, Belgium, Austria, the United States, Australia, Japan, China ., WHO organization representatives in Vietnam, representatives of 61 provinces and cities across the country attended.

More than 100 topical subjects, scientific research works in the deep specialized fields of blood transfusion majors, such as: Pathological problems and treatment of blood diseases, blood forming organs, hemostatic coagulation , immunology, genetics, molecular biology, blood transfusion problems from organizational model, collection, inoculant production, quality control . were presented at the conference.

In the past years, our voluntary blood donation movement has made new changes, the socialization of the voluntary blood donation movement has been initially successful to provide safer, better quality blood for people. sick. Some localities have achieved the rate of voluntary blood donors of 80-90%, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people.
