Netizens share a video of the artificial sun being taken to the sky in China, what is the truth?
A video allegedly capturing the scene of China sending an 'artificial sun' into the sky has been viewed millions of times and shared tens of thousands of times on social media. Netizens around the world were surprised, and many expressed concern. What is the truth of this?
On social networks, netizens are constantly sharing a video captioned as China putting an artificial Sun in the sky. This is said to be completely reasonable, because before that, there was news that China had developed an 'artificial sun'. This project is very famous, is a device that can be even hotter than the real Sun.
Chinese media once reported that the other device set a world record because it was 5 times hotter than the Sun, and kept that heat for 17 minutes.
In the video and images shared on social media, what looks like a glowing ball of gas rises into the sky. Around, many people stood watching and using their phones to record videos and take photos.
Many netizens around the world have expressed concern about a 'false sun'. They wrote comments like:
'I don't know about everyone, but I find it terrifying to put one more Sun in the sky.
'Is it necessary to turn night into day? I'm more scared than excited."
'It looks dangerous. Can it hit the real Sun?'.
The "artificial sun" was put into the sky, causing many people to worry?
However, major news sites have clarified the truth about this video bringing the artificial Sun up. Snopes page writes that this appears to be a video of a missile launch in Hainan, about 2 weeks ago. The Reuters site also confirmed the same.
The scientists also explain that it is very normal for us to see 'glowing gas balls' when shooting video of a rocket launch, especially if it is dark or cloudy, due to the light at that time. (from rocket launch) is very dazzling.
In fact, the device known as China's 'Artificial Sun' is still on the ground.
The video of the artificial Sun is said to be actually an image from this rocket launch (late December 2021).
The "Artificial Sun" device can reach temperatures of 70 million degrees Celsius (The real Sun 'only' has a temperature of 15 million degrees Celsius). However, the aim of this project is so that one day, (hopefully) it will be able to create 'infinite clean energy', but currently, no one has any intention of adding another Sun. all over the sky.
