A team of researchers at the University of Northern California in Chapel Hill has recently announced that they are working to find an alternative ingredient (for the current chemical composition of the battery) to help prevent potential battery damage. fires which cause these great consequences.
Accordingly, they discovered a component called fluoride polymer (also known as PFPE ), which can be used to produce non-flammable, flammable batteries such as lithium batteries.
