Picture 1 of New breakthrough in LED innovation

Researchers at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Princeton University, led by Professor Stephen Chou, have increased the brightness and efficiency of LEDs made from organic materials.

LED brightness is usually only 2 - 4%, while new LED brightness is up to 57% and up to 400% better image quality.

In addition, the team has insisted that the technology used to produce is simple and cheap.

According to crazyengineers.com, the problem of LEDs is that light is often trapped inside by a phenomenon called "endogenous reflection."

Researchers at Princeton University solved this problem by putting a nanotechnology structure called PlaCSH in LEDs to "extract" light trapped.
