New York is as beautiful as heaven in a historic snowstorm
Female photographer Vivienne Gucwa captures the love moments of New York in a historic snowstorm.
The US East Coast has experienced a historic snowstorm , causing many areas to be engulfed in white snow and must be alerted in 13 states. So cold, horribly, no one dared to go out, but with the artist's soul, the photographers could not stay in the house as recommended, so they had to miss the opportunity to take pictures. How beautiful.
Snow covered, no one wants to risk his life and go to the street, the bustling New York City suddenly becomes unusually quiet. On this occasion, photographer Vivienne Gucwa made a photo of a New York very calmly in the snowstorm. The set is one of the " NY through the lens " projects that the female photographer and writer are pursuing.
" I am obsessed with the feeling of loss mixed with a thirst for a walk around New York City: a long-term connection to a place that does not know what to call it, yet it feels very familiar like I was busy searching for nostalgia while wandering around discovering the transformation of New York City through my pictures and words. "
"When I lived in Manhattan in the 1970s, the best thing about this snowstorm was stillness," said Susan F.Bragg, a silver-haired Facebook user.
"This is truly a fairytale winter for all New YorkYork people. Hopefully this will be the first round and also the last snowstorm of this season."
Snow blew a corner of the city without sleep.
The snow was so thick that it covered more than half a bicycle. This snowstorm is considered the strongest in many years.
It is possible that these moments of fantasy and love are so, but the truth is that this situation has prompted 11 states across the country to urgently alert.
Central Park is famous in snowy days.
New Yorkers are famous for their extremely bustling life, this is probably the rare occasion for them to level off and feel the beauty from this hasty city.
Not always New York Street is as quiet as this.
The pristine snow everywhere makes things even more lonely.
The hotdog seller was worthy of being awarded a brave medal. Not everyone dares to make a living in such a terrible snow. But he is different.
Vivienne's writings often carry a hint of loneliness and nostalgia.
After watching these photos, many people want to go to New York once.
New York is not only beautiful by skyscrapers where it realizes the dream that Alicia Keys once sang.New York is still beautiful at this snowy pristine.
The pristine color of snow, the drowsy colors of streetlights, and space seem to settle down, giving way to Vivienne's concerns to take care of each picture.
Perhaps because she is a writer, her picture has something like a narrative.
Vivienne is currently pursuing a project called "NY through the lens", which gathers moments of New York when she wanders around the city.
People commented very positively about the photos, and there was almost no criticism for the photographer who was very interested.
Vivienne shared that she was obsessed by the sense of loss when she witnessed every corner of New York Street changing over time by modernization.
New York for her is an unnamed place. The feeling of being lost is familiar like the roof.
