Notice No. 1 of the 7th National Nuclear Science and Technology Conference (7/2007

Vietnam Atomic Energy Association and Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute jointly organized the 7th National Nuclear Science and Technology Conference to announce new results on scientific research, application and teaching learning and nuclear technology. The conference is scheduled to be held on July 19-20, 2007 in a central coastal city.

The 6th National Nuclear Science and Technology Conference was successfully organized by the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute in Dalat City, Lam Dong Province on October 26-27, 2005. Attending the Conference were 207 representatives from 47 agencies (including representatives of the Central Department of Science and Education, Government Office, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, 11 Research Institutes, 13 universities, 4 hospitals, 3 centers, 3 Departments of Science and Technology, 3 companies and some press agencies, local television stations).

The 7th National Nuclear Science and Technology Conference:

Participants in the Conference : Scientific staff working in the field of science and nuclear technology and related fields, some students participate in scientific research.

Exhibition : Organizing Committee won an exhibition booth for units and individuals to display panels, pictures, books and newspapers to introduce technology, services and products of atomic energy applications.

Organizational form:

1.

   Plenary: General invitation and discussion reports.
2. Conference at the subcommittees: Oral reports (oral) and hanging boards (posters)
3. The conference combines the organization of exhibition space on atomic energy application.

Aspects:

1. Nuclear physics (theory and experiment), reactor, accelerator
2. Radiation technology
3. Application of radiation and radiation isotopes in the fields (industry, agriculture, health, biology, materials, environment, geology, .)
4. Nuclear electronics, radiation equipment, nuclear measurements
5. Fuel, nuclear materials, radioactive waste
6. Technical analysis
7. Training and developing nuclear manpower
8. Radiation and nuclear safety, nuclear power.

Proceeding Conference:

1. The reports will be reviewed, edited and printed in the Scientific Report Collection of the Conference published by the Science and Technology Publishing House after the Conference.
2. The Conference Program and full-text reports will be recorded on CD and provided to participants at the Conference.
3. Some reports will be selected for publication in the Nuclear Science and Technology Journal (published in English) by the NLF. The authors need to register for the Editorial Board of Vietnam Institute of Agriculture and Forestry.

Deadlines:

1. March 30, 2007 : Deadline for submission of the application for participation in the Conference and summary of the report (summary of reports not exceeding 200 words, with keywords and written in both English and Vietnamese ).
2. May 15 , 2007 : Deadline for submitting full-text reports (including floppy disks, CDs or sending file attachments by email).
3. May 15 , 2007 : Deadline for submitting the registration form of content, form and volume displayed at the exhibition.
4. June 15 , 2007 : Deadline for notifying the author The report was / was not accepted and the presentation form (oral or poster) at the Conference.
