Official circulation of the first 25 gas-powered motorcycles

On August 25, the first 25 LPG-powered motorcycles were produced by Da Nang University Research Center in combination with Da Nang Technical and Trade Joint Stock Company (Datechco) which officially participated in the circulation. Da Nang city.

(Photo: VNN) The reason for the motorbike installation of LPG fuel converter / gasoline in operation is slower than expected because in the previous design design, the gas tank is placed outside the body, so it is still not satisfied by consumers.

The project has been suspended to continue to improve with the goal of not changing the style but the car can still run at the same time with two different fuels.

Two months ago, manufacturers found a way to put both gas cylinders and fuel tanks inside the body. In addition, a self-disconnected relay is installed at the fuel transducer. This relay only allows the converter to operate when the motor is started so it is safe.

After many verifications, Vietnam Register has agreed to license Datechco to produce 2 kg gas cylinders for scooters, 1.2kg for digital vehicles and granted quality certificates. car renovation for Datechco.

According to the test results of the Motor Vehicle Test Center (Ministry of Transport) for digital cars, running at a speed of 45km / hour consumes about 0.8kg of gas / 100km, running at a speed of 60km / hour consumes about 0.75kg of gas / 100km.

Particularly for scooters, if running at a speed of 45km / hour, it consumes about 0.97 kg / 100km.

Thus, compared to gasoline, gas-powered vehicles save about 40% of the cost.

In addition, when running on gas will reduce environmental pollution to only about 30% compared to gasoline and prolong the life of the engine.

In the immediate future, the gas loading for vehicles is done at the gas station No. 1 Le Quy Don (Da Nang). In the near future, there will be three more gas charging points in the inner city.

Currently, there are nearly 400 registered vehicles, with the installation cost of VND 1,350,000 per set.

Da Nang City People's Committee decided to support a part of the installation cost for 300 converted motorcycles with a support level of 70% (the first 100 vehicles), 50% for the next 100 vehicles and 30% with 100 cars remaining. again.

Professor-Dr.KH Bui Van Ga - Director of Da Nang University, the subject said: when the car runs out of gas, the user will open the gas switch and the car will still ensure normal running.

Currently, he and the manufacturer are continuing to research and manufacture an auxiliary switch to open the gas, immediately install the switch on and off of the vehicle to facilitate the users.

"According to the plan, after the first delivery (August 24, 2006) for customers, every day we strive to install LGP / gasoline fuel converter for 20-25 vehicles to timely serve customer's need".
