The oil filter cloth named SQS-1 of SQS Company under the Vietnam Association of Natural and Environmental Protection (VACNE) contributes to environmental protection, especially overcoming oil spills in Vietnam.

This fabric is produced entirely by recycled fibers of the textile industry, but it is capable of filtering oil, oil scum, oil-contaminated wastes in water (regardless of freshwater or saltwater) and is resistant to flow with maximum flow of 250m 3 / hour per 1m 2 .

When in contact with SQS-1, the oil is not only absorbed at the point of contact with the fiber but is sucked into the entire fabric by capillary force. Oil refining capacity is not affected as soon as the fabric is submerged in water, the oil is sucked in, pushing water away from the fabric and taking up space.
SQS-1 is capable of absorbing 20 times its oil weight. The fabric is expired and can be destroyed by high heat burning method with less than 1% ash.

Not only stop at this product, SQS also launched the oil filter cloth with bactericidal effect with symbol SQS-1 / AM. In fact, it is still SQS-1 oil filter cloth, but it has more features to kill bacteria, kill fungi, mold, and algae immediately upon contact.
