Optimized for USB

Currently, USB storage drives are increasingly popular because the price is quite cheap and meet the need to backup data instead of floppy disks.

So some safe operation follows the following instructions for USB not only to protect your precious data but also affect the life of the disc.

In Windows Explorer, right-click your USB drive and select Properties . Select the Hardware tab then select the corresponding USB name. Select Properties again .

The new dialog box will appear and select the Polices tab. In this section, check the box " Optimize for quick remove ". If you choose this item, the windowns read and write directly to the usb and you can unplug the USB without safe removal ( Safely Remove hardware ).

If you select " Optimize for performance " when you want to read / write faster. Since windows writes temporary data to the hard disk, when you perform the Safely Remove hardware command, the windows transfer data to USB. This is the cause of data loss when you unplug USB without using a command.
