Outlook 2007 will include SMS and voicemail features

Microsoft Outlook 2007 will be packed with new features that support sending SMS text messages and voicemail compatible with Exchange's voice mail service.

In terms of interface, Outlook 2007 has not changed much from the older version, only slightly modified. But a lot of new features are added such as the ability to integrate RSS support, share work schedules .

Microsoft is still quite secretive about the SMS support feature in the new version of Outlook because the developer still has to discuss the collaboration with wireless service providers in the US. In a recent demonstration of the recently released Outlook 2007 trial, Outlook product manager Jessica Arnol said Verizon's wireless service provider has become the first to support the SMS feature in Outlook.

The primary goal of Office 2007 is to allow remote employees to take advantage of similar features for the BlackBerry product line. Thanks to the ability to integrate with Microsoft Exchange Server, Outlook 2007 users can also browse email, voicemail and even share event schedules .

Support SMS text messages originating from the idea of allowing users to be continuously connected without having to have a smartphone running Office Communicator Mobile or Exchange Server version. Outlook 2007 will send SMS messages to any mobile phone number similar to the way this application sends emails. Feedback messages will also be received in Outlook's Inbox folder.

Users can completely send very long messages, the application will automatically split the message into multiple messages with a length compatible with the provisions of the service provider. Microsoft has not yet officially announced the price of this service but expects the service to be priced similarly to the price of a mobile service, which will be deducted directly to the user's mobile service account .
