Backup and restore for Outlook Express

While Outlook Express (OE) is the most widely used e-mail program, 'weird' is that very few people know how to back up emails or personal settings (complex and difficult to remember) to be able to restore when something goes wrong. Perhaps because Microsoft does not provide effective tools to help users do this themselves. I have encountered many cases of losing important archived emails as well as settings (email accounts, address books, signatures, spam filtering lists .) in OE, when users have to install Reset the program on the drive.

Outlook Express Backup Software (OEB) of Genie-Soft Corporation (with the latest version 6.5) is really a 'savior' of e-mail users as a means of doing their own work. It can be said that this software is the simplest and most effective use in backing up and recovering correspondence and the establishment of OE.

OEB is compatible with Windows 98SE / ME / 2000 / XP and works with Internet Explorer 5.0 and above. You can buy ($ 29.95) and download OEB at: http://www.genie-soft.com/products/oeb/default.html

With OEB, you can back up / restore data, establish each person who uses OE on multiple devices (such as Message Rules ), e-mail accounts ( accounts ), and messages. number of activities ( preferences ), signatures , and e-mail ( stationery ) patterns. In addition, OEB allows you to back up both Favorites, Internet Explorer Settings, Windows Address Book and any files you specify.

OEB also has the capabilities: Allows you to select multiple file compression levels depending on the machine speed. Split the backup file to fit the storage capacity. Backup files can be written directly to the recording CD (if the device has a CDR / RW drive). Protect backup files with password and 128-bit encryption. Lets see the backup file content and can choose to recover any item in this file. Allow automatic backup scheduling.

- Select Automatically verify my backup so that OEB will automatically check the result file after backing up, avoid the result that the result file is corrupted because the program encountered an error.

- Mark the item without closing Outlook Express Backup if you do not want to close OE each time conducting backup.
