If exploiting, destroying, transporting, storing, buying and selling corals will be fined from 5 to 10 million VND.

According to Mr. Tiep, the first phase of the coral protection project of Son Tra peninsula (2009-2010) has been completed. The exploitation group combined with the protection of aquatic resources has released 62 crank buoys longer than 9,000m, delineating 5 areas to be strictly protected: Hon Su, Bai But, Huc miss - Vung Da, Bai Nom and Bai Bac to protect protecting 104.6 hectares of coral with 194 species of coral, is the habitat of 162 species of fish and 81 species of benthic.

At the same time, the mining group combined with the protection of aquatic resources and the Border Guard forces regularly patrolled, received information from the people and prevented and handled 4 cases of acts of invading corals. and ecosystems in protected areas. Most recently, on September 21 in Bai Nom area, the coordinated force discovered, preventing a diving tourist from breaking corals.

Looking ahead, the second phase of the project will evaluate the recovery effectiveness of coral reefs. Then continue to protect 26.2 ha of seaweed carpet with 72 species, including species of seaweed with high economic value at Mui Gun, Tay Hon Sap, Vung Cay Bang, Lang Van, Bai Hotel, Mui Nhe . together with 10ha of seaweed mainly in Bai Nom is the habitat of crabs, snails, turtles, sea cows .
