Pentagon builds satellite

Pentagon scientists have come up with an idea that is "crazy", in which they want to exploit dead telecommunications satellites to get their parts to reuse in orbit. This program is called Pheonix and is expected to be tested in orbit in 2015.

The project started last year and entered a new phase this week after the Pentagon's Advanced Research Project Office (DARPA) began offering bids to commercial satellite owners. To allow the old spacecraft to be cut off by space robots as evidence for the research.

This is considered an expensive project that requires a lot of help from media and government companies, however, DAPRA is promoting this research program.
