The study, conducted by Internet Mindset Media and Nielsen Online, has explored the web to assess the personality of 25,000 Americans.

The results showed that people who always crave high-tech items often have personality like: like leadership, dynamic, assertive, but not humble.

Sarah Welch, the head of the study, said. 'Our survey has shown that in addition to age, gender and income levels, personality also influences the consumption of technology products'.

In 20 personality traits are evaluated with openness, creativity, self-esteem, spontaneity .

Participants who answered the poll were scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 point for those who showed at least the given personality traits and 5 who showed those traits clearly Most obvious.

Among those who achieved a score of 5 on leadership, 68% said they bought 3 or more computers within 2 years.

Similarly, 62% of those who score high on assertiveness prefer to buy cell phones whenever there are new ones appearing on the market.

However, hi-tech 'addicts' also express non-modesty and are often considered arrogant in the eyes of others.

'Aerial detection is absolutely amazing,' Welch added. 'If you look at the virtues of modern leaders, you can see that they tend to look forward and enjoy what is about to happen. If you are assertive, when you see the items you like, you will also buy them without hesitation and wonder. '
