Women in the period of using solid eggs discovered better

Ms. Nobuo Masataka of Kyoto University (Japan) conducted a trial of 60 healthy women who are in childbirth at three different stages in their menstrual cycle.

They were given 9 images, one of which is a picture of a snake crawling next to the flowers. The remaining images only have flowers. These volunteers quickly discovered the snake.

According to Masataka, this shows that pregnant women have a fear reflex or an innate response to a snake. So these reflexes are affected by the amount of hormones in pregnancy. " Women in pregnancy are more alert than the dangers that might threaten themselves," she said.
