Procession of disease because of eating micro-fish soup

The hunt for sharks to get fish fins pushed this 'ocean killer' to the brink of extinction. However, the masterpiece that is said to be 'greatness' is actually potentially deadly.

>>>Micro sharks are not resistant to cancer

LiveScience reported that the analysis of shark fin components in Florida waters has found high levels of BMAA, a neurotoxin that can cause Alzheimer's and Lou Gehrig's disease (muscle atrophy). This discovery immediately raises concerns that eating shark meat and fish soup may make users ' harmless.

Micro-fish soup is one of the "bowls" but it can also threaten the nervous system of the eater.

'The concentration of BMAA in the experiment is really worrying, not only in shark fins, but also supplements containing fish essence or other types of food / medicine that other human beings are high' , Ms. Deborah Mash, University of Miami Brain Endowment said.

Researchers examined seven different sharks, including: black nose shark, black shark, hammerhead shark, big hammerhead, bull shark, lemon shark (live only in the surrounding waters. USA, Brazil and some South American countries) and shark nurse (a kind of toothless shark). The results showed that BMAA concentrations ranged from 144 to 1838 nanograms / mg of specimens. According to Ms Mash, this level is equivalent to the level of BMAA found in the brains of Alzheimer's and Lou Gehrig patients. Previously, several studies have confirmed the link between eating flesh of Guam, which has a very high concentration of BMAA with these neurodegenerative diseases.

Researchers really hope this finding will make users rethink about eating micro-fish soup and using other medicinal products from sharks. In fact, up to 70 million sharks are cut off each year and thrown back to the ocean to die.
