A large ceiling glass will make you feel like you are under a sunny sky, whether you are in the room, in the hallway, or the lobby, even though there is no window out.

The "sky ceiling" uses high-resolution, cloud-shaped sky images and trees, mounted on the ceiling to create a 3D effect. To make the brain think that it is the real sky, the images are reproduced on transparent tiles and illuminated from behind by high-power fluorescent lights.

The system can also be programmed to simulate 3D images during the day, such as lightening up at noon and darkening at sunset. Calculated by both longitude and latitude, the ceiling not only follows the pattern of the setting sun, but also runs seasonally - brighter in summer and darker in winter.

This improved ceiling is being introduced in the UK and is expected to be popular in buildings, offices and hospitals. It is hoped that natural light and blue sky will help reduce stress, bring a feeling of relaxation and help patients recover faster.

A spokesman for manufacturer Sky Factory said: "We have created a world where the wild beauty of nature can be brought indoors. We have tried our best to create an illusion. Surreal, has the same physiological power as when you observe a real sky ".
