RAD51C gene causes breast and ovarian cancer
The announcement of the German Cancer Relief Association on April 19 said German scientists have discovered a gene that causes breast and ovarian cancer.
The report said that after studying the genomic correlation of 1,100 families with a history of breast and ovarian cancer, scientists from the clan's research organization on the family's mammary and ovarian cancer. Germany discovered a sensitive gene called RAD51C.
Scientists say that 15 years ago, two types of BRCA1 and BRCA2 were mutated and caused by breast and ovarian cancer.
However, the subjects in this new study were identified as not carrying two mutant genes BRCA1 and BRCA2.
The discovery of the RAD51C gene is an important prerequisite to improve the probability of early diagnosis of breast and ovarian cancer.
