Radioactive clouds increase the nuclear level when coming to Southeast Asia
The level of radionuclides in radioactive clouds to Southeast Asia may increase by about 10 times in the coming days. Even so, it is still tens of thousands of times lower than permitted, does not affect human health.
According to the Ministry of Science and Technology , according to experts' calculations in the coming days, if there is not much change in climatic conditions, radioactive clouds to Southeast Asia may have nuclear level. The measured radiation is increased by about 10 times. However, the concentration of radionuclides is still tens of thousands times lower than the permissible level, not affecting human health.

According to calculations, in the two days of July 7 and 4, radioactive clouds in Southeast Asia will spread gradually to Vietnam . By the afternoon of April 6, the monitoring stations of the Institute of Atomic Energy in Vietnam also recorded radioactive isotopes of I-131 and Cs-137. However, the radioactive indexes are all very low, do not affect human health and the environment.
The monitoring station located in Malaysia also recorded I-131 but has not found Cs-137. According to sources from the Japan Nuclear Industry Forum (JAIF), Japan Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), April 6, the Company Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) has confirmed that it has prevented leakage of radioactive water from concrete trough after spraying hardening chemicals into the trough. The company is also considering injecting nitrogen gas into the reinforced concrete protection layer of Unit 1 to avoid hydrogen gas explosion.
