Security guards at the national park happened to see albino zebras during their daily inspection. He saw zebras east of the park with the herd and named it Ndasiata.
The zebra's body is almost white, with only a few faint black lines on the neck, head, and torso. The albino zebra is about 8 months old.
According to a study, the black moon stripes on the back of zebras help them avoid fly bites. Therefore, without this black and white stripe, the albino zebra is vulnerable in the wild.
